Clade Dinosauria, Order Saurischia, Suborder Theropoda, Family Spinosauridae

Spinosaurus was a large (larger then T-Rex) aquatic carnivorous dinosaur. Note that the tooth is unserrated and conical, unlike most theropods, apparent to sieze slippery prey from the waters. At almost 5 inches long, making it from an animal larger than 75% of its peers. North Africa yield little in dinosaur bones, but teeth are relatively prevalent and available, particularly from the Kem-Kem Basin. Spinosaurus, even large ones are available and reasonably priced, unlike large T-Rex tooth from the U.S., that demand a king's ransom.
